Fight For Children Board of Directors Katherine Brittain Bradley Katherine Brittain Bradley is the president of CityBridge Foundation, a non-profit enterprise located in Washington, DC. Mrs. Bradley co-founded CityBridge in 1994 with her husband, entrepreneur and magazine publisher David G. Bradley. CityBridge directs practice areas in education, international health, and created ServiceCorps, a corporate civic engagement initiative. In 2006, CityBridge launched a five-year initiative to improve quality and expand capacity in early childhood and elementary education in the District of Columbia. In 2007, CityBridge expanded its impact in education into the K-12 DC Public Schools space. By engaging local business and public leaders, philanthropists and education activists in its mission, the Foundation seeks to leverage its work to stimulate broader public-sector change. Building and fostering strong community partnerships with existing best-in-class organizations is also central to the Foundation’s success. In addition to her work with CityBridge Foundation, Mrs. Bradley serves
as a board member for America’s Promise, the KIPP Foundation, Fight for
Children, and Princeton University. She chairs the Washington regional board
for Teach for America. She graduated in 1986 from Princeton University’s
Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs. Katherine and
David Bradley have three teenage sons. |
